Nagpur: The programme on Monday was dedicated to Marathi litterateur P L Deshpande as a part of ‘Smrutigandh,’ a four day long programme being organised by South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) at Suresh Bhat Auditorium, Reshimbagh to mark the birth centenary celebrations of literary and music maestros namely Sudhir Phadke, G D Madgulkar, Ustad Alla Rakha Khan and P L Deshpande, in joint association with Saptak, Nagpur.
Various artistes namely Arun Nalawade, Atul Parchure, Vighresh Joshi, Ketki Bhavejoshi, Ninad Ajgavkar, Gauri Damle, Bharti Malwankar presented ‘Pulkit’ in the memory of noted Marathi litterateur P L Deshpande. Pulkit included various life annecdotes of P L deshpande, songs and interviews and various other discussions related to him. The music organisor for the programme was Shrikant Pise from Nagpur and musical accompaniment was provided by Arvind Upadhyay on Flute, Pramod Bawane on Tabla and Yogesh Hivrale on Octopad. Proceedings of the programme was conducted by Dipali Kelkar and Shweta Shelgaonkar.
