An education session was conducted for the primary students of Saraswati Vidyalaya pertaining to protection of environment and prevention of cruelty to animals. The session was conducted by R B Deshpande of Vanrai. The session involved interaction with the students and getting to know their views on the issue. He explained the need of tree plantation and the adverse effects of cutting of trees on the environment. He also enlightened the students about terrace farming. Class IV student Kajal Duseja hosted the session which commenced with a prayer on environment by the students.
