Nagpur: In a shocking apathy towards students, the B.Sc. first semester paper was postponed today at the last moment reportedly to pave way for the shooting of megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s new movie Jhund, which is based on the life of Nagpur’s slum soccer founder Vijay Barse.
The shooting of this movie is underway and many scenes would be shot in Nagpur. A scene of the film is being shot at
Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agriculture College. It is learnt that Agricultural University Akola is charging Rs. 25,000 per day from the filmmaker to provide space for shooting, but at the cost of students’ convenience.

On Wednesday, University administration postponed first semester BSc paper scheduled. The exam would now be held on December 29.
According to information received college authorities gave the building for `25,000 per day. A set showing court rooms and Sadar police station has been created here. Associate dean of the college Dr ND Parlawar when contacted denied that the report that exam was postponed because of movie’s shooting. He said that due to convocation function of Agricultural University in Parbhani the exam was postponed.
