IAS officer Sheetal Telhi-Ugale (2009), has been appointed as Chairman, Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority. She was transfered on Thursday, when state govrnment issued fresh list of new postings. She was previously working as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Pune.
In other majour development Tukaram Mundhe has been transferred yet again by the Maharashtra government, barely a month after his previous posting.
A government release said Thursday that Mundhe has been posted as Project Director at the Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society, Mumbai.
Mundhe had been shunted out as Nashik municipal commissioner and posted as Joint Secretary (Planning) in Mantralaya (state secretariat) on November 22.
The 2005 officer, known for his no-nonsense ways, has often clashed with public representatives in his previous postings and faced at least a dozen transfers so far.
In the latest reshuffle, Rubal Prakher-Agarwal (2008 batch), currently Chief Executive Officer of the Saibaba temple trust at Shirdi, has been posted as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Pune, the release by the General Administration Department said.
Balaji Manjule, an Andhra Pradesh-cadre IAS officer of the 2009 batch, has been posted as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.
