A very unique methodology of teaching geographical concepts was adopted by the management of South Point School, Omkar Nagar for all its students right from nursery to X.
The school associated with BLUE STAR Planetarium and introduced the concept of Mobile Planetarium Education – K-12 for the school. It brought the fascination of the night sky to starless light polluted cities to connect the students to the study of astronomy in an age appropriate manner. The students experienced a unique joy quotient while learning about astronomical concepts and also cleared all their doubts related to the topic. Not only the students but also the teachers had this wonderful experience & they all agreed that it was indeed a great idea of teaching such concepts to the students. The director of the school Shri Deaven Dasture & the Principal Dr Mrunalini Dasture said that they wish to keep their school students updated with all that is latest and shall always adopt any technology which proves beneficial for their students.
