Tuli college of hotel management to hold its 2nd Two Day national Conference AMELIORATION 2019 on “A Greenification long Haul – A practice by Industry ; Transforming Challenges into Opportunities†on 4th& 5th January 2019 . The two day national conference will be inaugurated at  the hands of Shri. Nitin Gadkariji, Minister for Road Transport and Shipping and Water Resources,Government of India. Shri. Gadkari is the Chief Guest for the said conference and will throw light on the current scenario of the environmental issues. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Guardian Minister, Nagpur, Govt. of India, and Mr. Gulabrao Thakre, Joint Director, Technical Education. This conference is a meeting of students, faculties and industry experts working in fields of hospitality & leading toward the Greenification of the ecosystem. The keynote speaker Mr. Steve Borgia, Chairman & Managing Director of INDecoLeisur Hotels.Mr Borgia is known for his presentations, and he will enlighten the gathering by speaking on “Doing big, sustainable and responsible tourism businesses to mend rural backboneâ€.
The august gathering will also witness the presence of Dr. Nitin Labhsetwar, Professor, NEERI, Mr. Manoj Bali, General Manager, Hotel Radisson Blu, and Mr. Rahul Wankhede, – Regional Manager, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Nagpur .Mr Sushil Verma, Vice President Dinshaws group will also speak on challenges being addressed and  The panel will also be a part of the chairing session,  where there will be deliberations and contemplations on the environment , regulations and implementations. Mr.Sushil Kumar Shinde, former Home Minister, will be there for a breaking out session on day 1,where he will be talking about the know-how of greenification and how it is affecting our nation. The 2nd day i.e. 5th of January 2019, Guest Speakers from different walks of life will present their views. Mr. Abhijit Dutta,Post Graduate from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (under the MoEFCC) , has previously worked with Karnataka ecotourism . He has worked at Satpuda Foundation as the Assistant Director and has worked in the field of wildlife conservation, and worked on  Forest Rights Act as well, will speak on Tiger Tourism in Vidarbha & its sustainability.  Mrs. Vishakha Rao Jathar, Director, Rangresha & Hirvai an NGO, will speak on  Challenges of Carbon Footprints in Catering Industry’. Guest speaker Mr. Shrinivas Madbhushi, Divisional Forest Office, Maharashtra State Eco Tourism, will throw light on “Why Eco-Tourism only.†Mr. Vijay Humne, Assistant Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur will emphasize on “The General day to day Practices to be followed to save the Environmentâ€.
The two day session will also have paper presentations by the students and faculties. Where they will discuss the alternative areas contributing to greenification. The valedictory and summing up session will have the eminent guest Mr. Suhas Budhe, CMD, Biocare Pvt. Ltd, Nagpur, Hon. Secretary, Vidarbha Industries Association ,&Founder member of Centre for Sustainable Development, Nagpur. The Chairman of the college Mr MS Tuli will be present for the occasion .Over all the conference will concentrate on the alternatives and practices being adopted and practiced for saving the mother earth.
