Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chaired a meeting of Nagpur-Nagbhir Railway line gauge conversation project by Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (MRIDC).
The meeting was attended by Guardian Minister of Nagpur district Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Minister of Transport Divakar Raote along with senior officials of NABARD and Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank were present at the meeting. The 106 km project with estimated cost of Rs 1400 crore, will remove hurdles of coal supply to MAHAGENCO and bring down the coal rake time from 24 hours to 4 hours, with annual saving of Rs 152 crore.
