Six Budding Artists of Centre Point School, Katol Road.
A Sit and Draw Competition was organised by Hislop College. Six genius students of Centre Point School made a grand slam in the competition. Sachin Shivilla won a gift voucher of Rs.1, 100 for bagging the 1st Prize in Junior Category. Anannya Agrawal stood at the 2nd position and received a gift voucher of Rs. 500 and Winner of the 3rd Position was Siddharth Chaware and was awarded with a gift voucher of Rs.200. In, Senior Category, student of STD VIII Ananya Agrawal, whose performance was excellent, received a gift voucher of Rs. 1000. The 2nd position in senior category was bagged by Kanishka Kothari, who received a gift voucher of Rs. 500. And Gurleen Batra at 3rd position who also received a gift voucher of Rs.200. The teachers who guided these budding artists were Sanjay Waliokar (HoD-Arts) and Nandkishore Kosare of the Arts Department.
Winter Carnival of Edify School.
A winter fiesta of Edify School was recently organized. Malinder Kaur Tuli, Inderpreet Singh Tuli and Mandeep Kaur Tuli inaugurated the carnival. The inauguration was followed by students performing carol singing and dances. The carnival also included games, food courts, which were hosted by the students itself. Amazing Prizes were distributed at Lucky Draw game. An early bird game was also announced for the first five parents entering the premises of the carnival. The Directors Inderpreet Singh couple along with the Principal, Dr. Plex John, encouraged the students and also interacted with them during the fest. Dr. Plex John, also guided and helped the students in money matters and also advised the students on how handle the mob. The event came out to be a grand success with the help of the parents and as well as the hard work and efforts of the students.
State Level Winner of Tang Soo Do Competition: Shri Pakwasa Gujarati Girl’s High School.
Aarushi Fulmali of STD VI and Atharvi Fulmai of STD VIII of Shri Pakwasa Gujarati Girl’s High School, had participated in State Level competition of Tang Soo Do. The competition was held at Raje Chhatrapati Marshal Art English Medium School, Pimpalner Dhule. Atharvi Fulmali bagged a bronze medal in the state level, Tang Soo Do competition. M S Balsara, Principal, Supervisor, B K Kheridkar along with the staff members took proud in Atharvi Fulmali’s victory.
DAIMSR signed a MoU with Pune –based A I Analytics
For divulging the training, in the students in all the areas of Business Analytics, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research (DAIMSR), Dikshabhoomi has signed a MoU with a Pune –based A I Analytics. The course has been divided in two parts which will be of forty hours each. An assessment Test will be conducted by A I Analytics after the entire course has been completed. Based on the test results, the students will be successfully awarded a joint certificate, which will be endorsed by A I Analytics and Computer Society of India (CSI). In addition to this, the students will also be given an opportunity to work on live projects and do an internship in the vertical of Business Analytics. On this occasion, Director, Dr. Sudhir Fulzele, DAIMSR, said that this programme would certainly help to bridge the gap between industry and academy and would also attain the expectation of corporate from young Management students.
