Department of Mechanical Engineering, VNIT Nagpur in association with Maharashtra Chapter of Bamboo Society of India and Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) has organized a symposium on ‘Bamboo – Emerging Source of Energy for Industries’ on January 10. The programme will be held at the Physics Assembly Hall of VNIT and will be inaugurated by the commissioner of police Dr. Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay.
Experts at the symposium will highlight various research opportunities for using bamboo as a raw material for various industrial applications with emphasis on bamboo as a source of energy for industries.
