As a step towards social responsibility initiative, the staff members of the office of Accountant General (Audit)-II, Maharashtra Nagpur, collected and donated an amount of Rs. 48,001/- to “Swami Vivekanand Medical Missionâ€,.a Voluntary and Charitable Organisation working in health care since 1974 and is providing affordable, reliable services to poor people from around 150 villages in the vicinity of the hospital. Started in a cow-shed, now a 55 bedded hospital is situated at Parsodi (Khapri), Wardha Road, Nagpur, and is now in the stage to treat almost all types of diseases.
Ms. Hema Munivenkatappa, Accountant General (Audit) handed over the donation Cheque of Rs. 48,001/- to Dr. Dilip Gupta, Sr. Cardiac Surgeon and Chairman of the organisation and Shri Aniruddha Pande, Public Relation Officer, in a programme arranged by the Recreation Club of the Office of Accountant General (Audit)-II, Maharashtra Nagpur.
Shri. G. K. Pardikar, Sr. Dy. Accountant General(Audit), Shri Satish N. Wasnik, Dy. Accountant General (Audit), Shri S.G. Sable, Welfare officer, Devendra Mishra, President, Sourabh Bobde, Secretary of Accountant General Recreation Club(AGRC) and other officials were prominently present on the occasion.
