J D Polytechnic had organized an Inter College volleyball Competition under IEDSSA (Inter Engineering Diploma Students Association) Maharashtra State for the students of Diploma & Pharmacy in JD polytechnic campus on 15th January, 2019. Dr. Anil Karvande, President of Vidarbha Zone Sport Association was the chief guest of this event. He motivated the students about the sports and told the importance of sportsman spirit. 16 team had participated in this competition. The coordinators of the program were Prof. Vaibhav Pande and Prof. Sanjay Batwe.
    
The program was carried out successfully under the guidance of Prof. Farhan Khan, HOD, Civil Department and Prof. Y S Awachar, Principal, J D polytechnic. Shri. Sanjay Agrawal Chairman Jaidev Education Society (JES), Shri. Ajay Agrawal Secretary JES, Dr. P. B. Maheshwary, Prof. S. M. Bang, Directors JES and executive director Mr. Avinash Dorsatwar, appreciated the efforts taken by the department.
