Veteran batsman Wasim Jaffer cruised to a scintillating double century – his ninth 200-plus score in first-class cricket – as Vidarbha extended its lead to 204 in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 quarter-final against Uttarakhand at VCA Stadium, Jamtha on Thursday. At stumps on the third day, Vidarbha were going solid on 559/6.

The duo forged a whopping 304 runs for the second wicket before Ramaswamy departed for a fine 141 after he was caught by Vineet Saxena off DK Sharma in the 93rd over.
