Nagpur is emerging as a model of development in the country. With various developmental works being implemented on war footing, the city has left a mark for itself, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the city on Friday.
He was speaking after dedicating the second phase of Ramjhula to the people. Union Minister for Road and Surface Transport; Nitin Gadkari presided over the programme. Guardian Minister of the district Chandrashekhar Bawankule, PWD Minister Eknath Shinde, Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Rajya Sabha member Dr Vikas Mahatme, MLA Sudhakar Kohle, Dr Milind Mane, Sudhakar Deshmukh, Vikas Kumbhare, Leader of Ruling Party in NMC; Sandeep Joshi, Leader of Opposition in NMC Tanaji Vanve, senior corporator Daya Shankar Tiwari, Pravin Datke, Adv Sanjay Balpande, District Collector Ashwin Mudgal, Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar, Chief Engineer Ulhas Debadwar, Chief Engineer Sudhakar Murare, Superintending Engineer Ujjwal Dabe and Manoj Talewar were prominently present on the occasion.
With the inauguration of the second phase of Ramjhula, the long pending demand of the citizens has been fulfilled, which also solve traffic congestion problem at Jaistambh Square.
