Fire Evacuation Mock Drill was conducted at the premises of MKH Sancheti Public School & Junior College on January 21, 2019 on the occasion of National Fire Day, under the able guidance of Mr. R D Uchake (Head, Fire Station Office), the whole team of the fire department which included D N Nakod (Station Officer, Narendra Nagar), Shri C B Tiwari (Assistant Station Officer, Narendra Nagar), Shri R. Kothe (Assistant Station Officer, Disaster Management Cell, NMC, Nagpur, Shri Sunil S Raut (Assistant Station Officer, Disaster Management Cell, NMC, Nagpur and other staff members of the fire department , NMC – Sharad Dandekar, Atul Nibarte,Chandrapal Shambharkar, Sitaram Dahalakar, Milind Andhare & Gulab Dhopte  gave training to the students on how to evacuate the building during fire. They also gave a demo on different ways to handle the injured victims.
The students were made to extinguish the fire. This activity took place sharp at 11 am and the building evacuation activity took place in just 4 mins. Along with, President, Shri Mohan Gandhe, Principal City Premier College – Dr. Owais Talib and Executive Member Mrs. Rucha Yenurkar were also present during the mock drill and demo station. Principal Mrs. Uma Bhalerao conveyed vote of thanks to the officers from the Fire Department & Disaster Management Team, NMC, and Nagpur for giving their valuable time in training with more than 2000 students and 175 staff members. Director, Mr. Amit Yenurkar congratulated Principal Mrs. Uma Bhalerao and the Fire Management Team for conducting the event smoothly.
