Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) of the NCC cadets started with arrival of 450 cadets and a team of 25 conducting staff (Military and Civil personals) under Command Col Subhash Sinha, the Camp Commandant.
The camp is being held at Arvind Academy, Saoner. The venue has been specially chosen keeping in view the foolproof training of NCC cadets by utilising all facilities of the academy, which trains budding and aspiring children for defence forces.
This ten days of camp to be held till January 30, will keep the cadets on toes training them for firing, obstacle course, map reading, fire fighting, yoga and various military subjects. In addition lectures will be organised of eminent personalities and position holders for the betterment of budding cadets.
The camp is attended by ANO’s Lt PW Ambekar, S/O P R Waghmare, T/O V H Naik, Permanent Insturctors Ris Virender Kumar, CHM Meeravali, CHM A K Tripathi, SQMD Jasvir Singh, CHM Anil More, Dfr Dharamvir, LD Surjeet Yadav and Civilian Staff Shri V B Sondawale, Shri Baban Khadse, Shri R N Sheikh, Shri S B Mandaokar, Shri A K Banerjii, Shri M B Tumsare, Shri Madan guided and directed by Col Subhash Sinha.
