Kavi Kulguru Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya in association with Vidarbha unit of Sanskar Bharati had organised a two-day training workshop for Sanskrit teachers at Ramtek.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Shriniwas Varkhedi inaugurated the workshop and presided over it. Registrar of the university Dr Ramchandra Joshi, Dean Dr Lalita Chandratre, head, Vidarbha unit of Sanskar Bharati Dr C G Vijaykumar, Co-ordinator of the university Dr Hrishikesh Dalai and  recipient of Sanskrit Vidvan Sadhana Award Dr Madhav Kelkar were seated on the dais.
Addressing the workshop, Prof Varkhedi spoke about promoting the Sanskrit language in the society on a large scale and also about the Sanskrit teachers’ responsibility to conserve the language and impart cultural values in the society.
Dr Vijaykumar delivered the introductory remarks. Dr Savita Arya conducted the proceedings while Dr Sumit Kathale proposed a vote of thanks.
