The All India percentile list declared yesterday by National testing Agency (NTA) has sent ripples of joy to the second capital. Two Students from Resonance Nagpur – Aman Gupta and Aryan Rathod have emerged as toppers. While Aman Gupta has got a percentile score of 99.99, Aryan Rathod was a close second at 99.952. Aman’s score is highest in Vidarbha making him Vidarbha Topper. Both Aman Gupta and Aryan Rathod have been Resonance’s Pre-Foundation students. While Aryan prepared for JEE (Main) –I at Resonance Nagpur Study Center, Aman Gupta was sent to Kota at its ‘Vardan’ program for last few months to fine tune his skills and acumen as a part of last leg of JEE (main) preparation. JEE (Main) new format by NTA as announced by MHRD is an initiative to de- stress students as one can take this exam twice a year as Exam 1 or Exam 2.
The better of those two scores would be considered as qualifying criteria for taking JEE (Advanced). While JEE (Main) will be gateway to admissions into all NITs /IIITs/ GFTIs and various other Institutions, JEE (Advanced) qualified candidates will win a coveted seat in IITs –The premium most technical colleges in India along with other elite institutes of National importance like IISc, IISER, IIPE and RGIPT to name a few.
