Weather in Nagpur city became chilly again with the mercury dipping down further. However, it was not as cold as on December 29 when city recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 3.5 degree Celsius. However, after a lull, the city witnessed severe cold again. On Monday, the minimum temperature recorded was 6.5 degrees Celsius, 8 degrees below normal. During the last few days the minimum temperature ranged between 10 and 14 degrees Celsius. There was hardly any change in the maximum temperature which was at 25 degree Celsius.
According to the Meteorological department, the present trend is likely to continue for this week with gradual change in the minimum temperature, which would rise up to 9 degrees Celsius in the later part of the week. There would be no change in the maximum temperature, which would remain between 25 and 26 degree Celsius throughout the week, with forecast of clear sky showing no mention of any rainfall.
