Booking.com, one of the e-commerce companies and a digital technology leader, announced the finalists for the second edition of the Booking.com Technology Playmaker Awards. Introduced in September 2017, the awards are dedicated to recognizing and celebrating women working across the world that are disrupting and transforming businesses, industries, communities and society using technology. With nominations open globally this year, award finalists include women in tech across 21 countries that have made remarkable achievements in sectors including healthcare, education, retail, agriculture, fraud prevention, finance and gaming.
Anubha Maneshwar, 23 year old Founder of GirlScript Foundation Pvt Ltd and alumni of Nagpur University got selected among top 8 women in Role Model Category. GirlScript is the only organisation to get selected in finalists among all nominations made from 21 countries to represent India for the tremendous work done in Tech Education. The award ceremony to announce winners will be held at London on March 13, 2019.
