‘CrescendoXX Extra Peace Extra Love’, the mega intercollegiate youth festival, currently underway at Tirpude Institute of Management Education, saw some exciting moments in various sports and cultural categories.
Third day of the event was very engaging with final matches being played for following events: Sports – Tug-of-war (girls): Winners were Amita Thakur & team and runner-up were Iqra Hurain & team; Rider mania: Winner for 1st, 2nd & 3rd position were Gaurav Singh Thakur, Shoeb Khan and Mukesh Sonbarse; Remote car racing: Winner for 1st & 2nd position were Shubham Desai and Rahul Shahu. Cultural – Quiz: The winners were team from Law college and 1st and 2nd runners-up were from Law College and Hislop College; Singing: Winner and runner-up for different categories were: (solo female)-Suchita Sontakke and Daniya Sheikh; (solo male)- Swapnil Titre and Rasik Kude; (Duet) – Pranali Patil & Nikhil Ramteke and Sakshi Tayade & Muskan Manikpuri; Antakshari: Winners were Sahil Chauragade & team and runner-up were Mrunal hazare & team; Treasure Hunt: 1st prize winners were Hislop college, 2nd prize and 3rd prize winners were City Premier College; Ad Making: Winners of the final round were Meenu & team, Rohit & team and Ritik & team for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position, respectively.
Quarter final matches were conducted for Kabaddi, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Arm Wrestling, Badminton, Table Tennis, LAN gaming, Ad making, Fashion show and Dance.
A galaxy of judges and guest attending various cultural events include PSI, Kalpana Dawane, Director at N-COPS Training Centre, Nagpur Police, Ms Jaya from NCOPS, Nagpur Police,Mr Naidu of Career Launcher, Dr Sangeeta Deshpande, Executive Director of Wonderland School and a trained classical dancer, Prabhat Madavi, alumnus and established choreographer, Dr Vivek Awasare, Principal of Nasikrao Tirpude College of Physical Education, Vyom Shah, Founder at Phronesis Strategies, Gopika Shrivastav, alumni, Samir Sheikh of Holiday Tickets, Mr Sarfaraz from Times of India, Mr Gajendragadkar, sound expert, Piyush Yadav, promo producer at Radio Mirchi 98.3FM.
The event will be concluded tomorrow. Excitement and enthusiasm to grow, with final rounds to be played under various sports and cultural categories. Enormous response is seen among the youth for this intercollegiate event.
