The Nationalist Students Congress has demanded to cancel Maharashtra Public Service Commission pre exam 2019 scheduled on February 17.
The workers of the organisation led by Jagdish Panchbudhe and Rahul Kamle on Thursday gheraoed Deputy Collector Ravindra Khajanchi and submitted a memorandum of demands to him. They stated that the applicants received their admit card for the MPSC pre-exam recently. The applicants have been allotted the roll numbers according to their mobile phone numbers. The system of allotting the role numbers according to their mobile numbers was adopted in 2017-18.
However, with a view to take undue advantage of the system, a number of applicants first got the mobile numbers issued in sequence and then filled up their applications for the examination. As a result they got the roll numbers too issued in sequence, which will help them to copy in the exam, the delegation alleged, adding it would adversely affect the honest and hard working students.
The Nationalist Students Congress delegation further urged the Commission to change the sitting arrangement based on Aadhar Number or date of birth to avoid any malpractices during the examination.
Rahul Waghmare, Gautam Vaidya, Vikrant Meshram, Rahul Kothale, Vilas Uike, Abhilesh Bhele, Sahil Yadav, Piyush Pillewan, Sumedh Shahare, Sahil Share, Nishant Ghode, jai Ptael, Amol Yengalwar, Subhash Kamle, Ravi Kadbe, Shanawaj Khan, Divya Janbandhu and other office-bearers of Nationalist Students Congress were present on the occasion.
