MSEB Officers Federation 42nd convention inaugurated
There will be no job cuts while restructuring the power companies. The misunderstandings if any will be removed. However, the changes according to times should be accepted. If there are any suggestions to improvement, the workers’ union should inform the management, said Minister for Energy Chandrashekhar Bawankule. He was speaking at the inauguration of 42nd state-level convention of MSEB Officers Federation at LA Hostel, Civil Lines in the city on Saturday.
Regional Director (MSEDCL) Dilip Ghugal, Executive Director (HR) Mahatransco Sugat Gamre, Chief Engineer; Koradi Plant; Abhay Harne, Chief Engineer, Mahatransco; (Nagpur Division); Suresh Patil, President; MSEB Workers Federation; Satish Talnikar, Secretary; Dilip Shinde, and General Secretary; Pravin Bagul were seated on the dais.
All the three state-run power companies should become financial self-sufficient, Bawankule said, adding it is necessary to bring down the power loss to less than 15 per cent. He said the salary hike of officers and employees will be announced before the Assembly elections.

The convention will brainstorm with a view to provide uninterrupted electricity supply to the people of the State, the minister said.
In his speech Dilip Shinde raised point wise issues which included recruitment, transfers, atmosphere of fear due to restructuring leading to job cuts and other issues.
