Asian Kidney Hospital & Medical Centre, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur in association with Late Dr B S. Chaubey Memorial Trust organised a health check-up Camp recently under the guidance of Dr Sameer Chaubey, Director of the hospital, which is known to be Central India’s largest hospital treating kidney related diseases.
Due to the changing lifestyle, many young people are being diagnosed with kidney problems.
The objective of the camp was to educate the people about various symptoms which can cause kidney diseases. More than 70 patients benefited from the camp. This camp offered kidney, heart and liver function test at a very nominal rate. Similarly, tests such as ECG, blood test, kidney function test, BMI, liver function test were also carried out at the camp. Special tests were conducted offering 50 per cent discount .
Dietician, Deepa Chaurasia guided the patients about the right intake of diet and nutrition in order to have healthy kidneys. Free samples of biscuits, butter milk and protein powder were distributed to the participants at the camp.
Dr RajashriYadav, Dr Archana Somani, Dr Swati Vakil, Dr Smita Chaubey, Sarika Chaturvedi, Dr Rehan Raza, Inamul Rehman and the entire staff took efforts to make the camp successful.
