In today’s world ‘Innovation’ is the buzzword. It is important for the advancement of society around the world. New and innovative products can increase the standard of living and provide people with opportunities to improve their lives. Innovation has also lead to significant improvements in the way businesses operate.
Due to factors such as globalization and outsourcing, there is an increased push to improve efficiency and effectiveness of a product/ process. Everywhere they require innovative processes and products that can drive down costs and improve productivity.
To support the growing demand of the culture of innovation at global level, a new facility ‘Innovation Centre’ is established Raman Science Centre. As an annual event of the Innovation Centre, Raman Science Centre is organizing the ‘Raman Festival of Innovation’ during February 15 – 17, 2019.
200 innovators from schools and Science & Engineering colleges are participating with their 100 3D, working innovative projects in the ‘Innovative Project Competition cum exhibition’. Specially designed projects which are taken up under Start-up scheme and live demonstrations by ‘Artisans’ will be an added attraction to the festival. A workshop on Innovative physics teaching for teachers and on Bottle art and folding microscope for students will also be organised during the festival on during the festival.
Raman Festival of Innovation will be inaugurated by Atul Pande, President, Vidarbha Industries Association in presence of Nitin Gujrathi, Proprietor, Renukiya eSols & Chair Technology, Lemon School of Entrepreneurship on 15th February 2019 at 11.00 am.
The festival will remain open for public from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm from Feb 15 to 17 2019. Schools, college students and public in general are requested to visit this festival in large number. Entry to the festival is free.
