General Manager; South Eastern Central Railway (SECR); Sunil Singh Soin inspected the newly-converted broad gauge line from Itwari to Kelod. The conversion works were completed recently with the safety department giving its approval to operationalise the line. Thus, train service on the line would begin soon on the line. Mr. Soin inspected the line through tower wagon and also reviewed the preparations at all the stations that fall on the route.
Mr. Soin was accompanied by Chief Administrative Officer (Production); Sonvir Singh, Secretary to GM; Himanshu Jain, Divisional Railway Manager; Shobhana Bandopadhyay, Additional Divisional Railway Manager; B K Rath, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K V Ramana along with other officials of the division.
Earlier, Mr. Soin visited and inspected Kalmana-Godhni line. He also addressed a meeting to review various developmental works in the division. He issued necessary directions for early completion of these works.
