Various organisations in the city paid tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama on Friday.
The city unit of Aam Admi Party paying rich respects to the 42 jawans of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the attack in Pulwama on Thursday demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore each to the family of the deceased. They further urged the government for a retaliatory action tto Thursday’s attack.
Those attended the programme included Geeta Kuhikar, Sunanda Khairkar, Subhadra Yadav, Rajni Shukla, Nilesh Goyal, Shankar Ingole, Laxmikant Dandekar, Jagjit Singh, Ashok Mishra, Devendra Parihar, Kishor Chimurkare, Bhupal Sawarkar, Abrar Khan, Nalis Sheikh, Nehal Barewar, Shreyans Jaiswal, Piyush Aakre, Krutal Aakre, Rakesh Gajbhiye, Sonu Fating, Babuu Sheikh, Govind Bharadwaj, Ashok Patil, Shashikant Raipure, Rakesh Dawe, Vijay Dhakate, Abhishek, Dhiraj Aagashe, Rafi Bhai and Prabhat Agrawal.
In yet another programme, the Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) condmned the Thursday’s attack in strong words.
NVCC President Hemant Gandhi, Secretary Sanjay Agrawal demanded effective steps for the security of the jawans.
Immediate past president Prakash Mehadia, Vice-President Arjundas Ahuja, Ashwin Mehadia, Farooq Akbani, Sachin Punyani, Ramavtar Totla Umesh Patel, Shabbir Bhai and Raju Makhi were present on the occasion.
A similar programme was held at the office of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) at Katol Road where tributes were paid to the 42 CRPF jawans.
Chief Engineer (Quality Control) Suhas Rangari chaired the programme. Incharge Chief Engineer (Civil) Rakesh Janbandhu, General Manager (Finance & Accounts) Sharad Dahedar, Deputy General Manager (Information Technology) Pramod Khule, Executive Engineer Pramod dhanvijay, Prajwala Kirnake, Deepali Madelwar, Assistant General (HR) Vaibhav Thorat, Pravin Katole and Madhusudan Marathe were present at the programme.
