Noted poet of the city Rahul Wankhede has been appointed as the President of the 18th Ambedkarite literary meet to be held in Nanded on February 17.
His two collection of poems Vyavastha Vidhvans and Surya Beej va Republican Fatafut: Manuvadi Manasikteche Den are already published in addition to an article on Jatiya Atankwad Swarup ani Upay.
Dr Indrajeet Orke’s book analysing Wankhede’s poems is already popular. Rahul Wankhede is associated with a number of social organisations for the last 40 years. His appointment to the post is being largely hailed by his friends, relatives and well-wishers.
Wankhede is serving Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Nagpur as Regional Officer.
