The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)Â is a body corporate established by an Act of Parliament i.e. the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (no. 38 of 1949) Â for regulating of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India.
The Institute functions under the administrative control of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accounting body not only in the country but also globally, for its contribution in the fields of education, professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards. Nagpur branch of our Institute is one of the most vibrant branch amongst other branches. The branch has been adjudged as the Best Branch of the country and Western Region on several occasions.
The elections of Managing Committee of Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI for triennial term 2019-22 were held on February 23, 2019 at ICAI Bhawan, Dhantoli, Nagpur Office bearers for the year 2019-20 will be elected in the next Managing Committee Meeting.
