Maharashtra state board class 10th board examination to begin from March, 01, 2019. As many as 1.64 lakh regular students  and 7777 private and repeaters as well will appear in the exam. Board has made 690 exam centers across Nagpur division. Among total number of regular students there are 84884 boys and 79977 girls and 17 trans-genders.
Among total number of repeaters and private students there are 5072 boys and 2705 girls who will appear in the exam. Police department has also imposed section 144 in all exam Centers. State Board Divisional Chairman, Ravikant Deshpande has informed that from the first day itself board will send 6 flying squads for vigilance.  There are total 45 flying squads who are deployed to monitor the smooth working at the examination centres and to avoid any unfair practices during the exams.“We are emphasizing on conduct of peaceful and smooth exam†he added.
The first paper is of Marathi which will be conducted from 11 am to 2 pm. The examinations will be held under strict camera surveillance at most of the centres.
