Sāndipani’s Fledgeling Fiesta – ‘An Ode to Womanhood’ 

A rainbow of colours unfurled on the stage as Sāndipani Hazari Pahad Pre-Primary School celebrated its annual day function ‘Fledgeling Fiesta’ recently. The occasion was graced by the chief guest Wing Commander, Pratibha Bisht, Air Force Station Nagpur. The programme commenced by the lighting of the lamp.

The audience was enthralled by the series of performances depicting the Indian women achievers titled ‘Namo Narayani’. The tiny tots mesmerised the audience with the scintillating display of music, light and props. The programme was a myriad of performances depicting the Nightingale of India – Lata Mangeshkar to the Rani of Jhansi – Lakshmibai.

The entire hall echoed with applause when Mary Kom took up the crowd with her punches. The attraction of an hour long event was the Tarini Crew – an all – ladies crew who circumnavigated the globe, which was brought alive on the stage with aplomb and pride. The concluding presentation was a tribute to the mother who is a plethora of dynamism.

The Pre-Primary teachers under the guidance of Principal, Shanthi Menon worked hard to make the function a grand success. The programme was appreciated by the School President, Rajashri Jichkar, Vice President, Rameshji Girde, Chief Advisor, Lata Thergaonkar and Manager, Mrunalini Kale.

The programme was graced by the presence of school Trustee members, Maitreyi Jichkar and Yajyavalkya Jichkar along with school Managing Committee Member Advocate Rajesh Shah. Large number of people attended the event and lauded the efforts of their wards and the staff members.
