JCI Orange City, one of the premiere chapter of Junior Chamber International, India, and the Hitavada in association with CIVAA (Cent Ind Vintage Automotive Association), Nagpur has successfully organized, The Vintage Car Rally 2019  today, at St. Ursula School Ground, Civil Lines, Nagpur. The Event was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Guardian Minister, Chandrashekha Bawankule in the esteemed presence of Abhay Vaidya and Jc Rajesh Saraf , Zone President of Zone IX of JCI India.
More than 100 proud owners participated in the event from Nagpur and surrounding part of Central India wherein they showcased there vintage and classic cars, two-wheeler. The City witnessed a parade of stunning vintage beauties rolling out on the streets of Nagpur which gave on-lookers the feeling of yester years.
The rally and display of vehicles included Antique, Vintage and Classic Cars, Bikes, Jeep, Bus, Cycle etc. The rally flagged off from the Venue and covered the length and breadth of the Orange City covering almost 25 kms where the organizers had also arranged for check post in between. This event was not a competition or race between vehicles but was a pleasant display of the heritage vehicles owned and maintained in the city.
The concluding ceremony was graced by Pradeep Pohane, Chairman, Standing Committee, NMC, Nagpur. He also awarded prizes to winners of the respective categories. Also present on the occasion were Abhay Vaidya and Jc Rajesh Saraf, Zone President. The event was supported by The Hitavada, CIVAA, Students of Tirpude Institute of Management, radio partner 92.7 Big FM, Provincial Group, Ford Sequel, Wolksvagon, Arya Cars, Paragon Traders , Hakimi Paints, Club Mahindra, Arun Jewllers, Bhagwati Electonics, Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of India, Tipsy Restro.
A dedicated team of over 100 members worked hard day and night since last 2 months to make this event a grand success under the able leadership of President Jc. CA Swapnil Agrawal and time to time guidance of former Presidents namely, JFM Anil Jain, Jc Kishor Vadaliya, Jc Sunil Patil, Jc Rajesh Rathod, Jc Hemal Nadiyana, Jc HGF Ritesh Mehta, Jc Anand Taori, Jc Prashun Agrawal, Jc Swastik Jain, Jc Akash Jain, Jc Ajay Vaswani and immediate Former President Jc Manoj Pawa.
