CA Sanjay M. Agrawal has been nominated as the Chairman of Nagpur branch of Western Indian Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (WICASA) for the year 2019-20. CA. Saket Bagdia is the Convenor. WICASA 2019 will work under the aegis of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.
The new team consists of enthusiastic chartered accountancy students including Ayush Gupta as Vice -Chairman, Aditi Pacheriwala as Secretary, Vaidik Sakoniya Treasurer, Riddhi Kothari Joint Secretary, Krunal Dhabale and Ayushi Agrawal as Joint Editors and Aishwarya as C0-opted Member.
Agrawal, on taking charge, thanked the predecessor team and congratulated it for its successful tenure. Main focus of this year’s team would be all round development of the students undergoing CA course through academic, social, cultural and sports events, so that they can effectively explore their horizons in academic lives, he said.
He appealed to the team members to take care convey to the CA students that getting qualified as a CA should be the topmost priority in their lives
Agrawal aims to continue the legacy of Nagpur WICASA and also create a benchmark in the coming year. He thanked CA Suren Duragkar, Chairman, Nagpur branch of ICAI, CA Abhijit Kelkar, Regional Council member and all the Managing Committee members for reposing faith in him.
CA Duragkar congratulated the entire team WICASA 2019 and wished it success. He added to plan one unique signature event of WICASA 2019 so that the team gets recognition and respect not only amongst students but also at regional and central levels of ICAI.
