Ever since it began its work in the city, MahaMetro always gave priority to safety. Following this line, MahaMetro recently celebrated 48th National Safety Week.
The employees working on all the four reach (routes) of MahaMetro were explained the significance and importance of safety. Similarly, safety employees presented various demonstrations at various points, which are visited by a large number of people.
MahaMetro officials organised a mock drill, where the employees showed excellent skills of handling emergency situations. In addition, various competitions were also organised for the employees where too the employees presented their skills. The winning competitors were awarded prizes by senior officials. The employees were further administered safety oath.
Safety training is imparted to MahaMetro employees, other employees and engineering students at the Little Woods Park, on Hingna Road developed by MahaMetro.
