Star-studded AGRC and Central Railway set up a title clash in Guzder League Inter Institution Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament organised by VCA at Dr Ambedkar College ground.
In the first semi final AGRC defeated MSEB by nine wickets whereas Central Railway got the better of SE Railway by 13 runs.
The final will be played on Wednesday at the same venue.
Batting first MSEB scored 99 for 6 in 20 overs. Mangesh Samdurkar ( 36, 30b, 4×4, 1×6) and Rohit Charote ( 26, 25b, 2×4) were main scorers.
For AGRC, Shrikant Wagh claimed three wickets whereas R Sanjay, Akshay Wadkar and Rajneesh Gurbani got one each.
In reply AGRC chased the target in 12.3 overs losing just one wicket. Akshay Kolar (41, 40b, 6×4) and L Bhattacharya ( 37, 28b, 2×4, 2×6) ensured big win.
In the second semi final, Central Railway downed SE Railway by 13 runs. Batting first, Central Railway scored 155 for 6 in 20 overs. Prabodhan Janbandhu top scored with 45. Sanjog Binkar played an unbeaten knock of 54 in 34 balls hitting six boundaries and two sixes.
