Divyansh Steels Slum Soccer continue their winning run with an impressive victory over Bijlee Spartans which keeps them on top of the leader board at 19 points. DSSS after their win in the last game looked hungry to get another one. And they produced some exquisite football in the first half and looked more threatening going towards the Spartans goal. However, Spartans held their own and were equally up to the mark in defence. However, a lapse in concentration gave DSSS a window of opportunity and they punished Spartans with a goal to take the lead and ultimately win the match.
Nujsters Slum Soccer B drew against a spirited Lighthouse Rangers side and are now second with 17 points and must win their next game and hope for a DSSS loss in order to win the title. Both the teams played well in the first half. Both the teams maintained the possession, passed the ball around and took couple of shots. Iqbal from NSSB scored the opener with a long-range effort. Rangers equalized just before half time through a penalty. The second half was very competitive as both the teams picked up from where they had left. However, no one could convert from their chances and the match ended in a draw. Lighthouse Rangers are now out of the title race and must play well to finish third.
An interesting second match saw Rohits Titans edge past Pablos Greenhouse FC to grab an important win. Greenhouse looked sharp in the opening half as they kept the possession. But the break came from Rohits Titans as they took the lead just few minutes before the half time. Greenhouse FC tried hard to make a comeback but couldn’t as time moved quickly for them. In the end Titans went home with 3 points.
The third match of the day turned out to be an absolute thriller. Hardeos Phoenix FC have been playing phenomenal football and were after a win in this match. They did take on an early lead to put the pressure on Galaxy FC, however, a moment of magic from Vedant Babar gave Galaxy FC the equalizer and match ended as a draw.
Amitasha United FC have been performing well in the recent weeks and now it was a local club Royal Strikers who were on the receiving end. Amitasha played very well and maintained possession, passed the ball around and linked up very well which saw their side scoring 5 goals. Royal Strikers did score a goal on a counter attack but it only proved to be a consolation.

Hardeos Phoenix tried to take charge of the game as soon as the game started with their good short passing in link up of play. However, Galaxy FC was not going to take it so easily and they played on the counter and harassed Phoenix’s defense throughout the game. It was Ashish from Phoenix who scored early on in the game to put the pressure on Galaxy. But it wasn’t late before Galaxy FC equalized, as Vedant scored an incredible solo goal making it 1-1.
