As the nation celebrated the festival of Holi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its candidate list for the Lok Sabha elections.
As anticipated earlier Gadkari will be BJP candidate from Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency.
Senior party leader J P Nadda told a press conference that the party decided to field Union minister Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur.
Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Subhash Bhamre and Hansraj Ahir are among the key BJP candidates from Maharashtra as the party announced its first list for the Lok Sabha elections Thursday.
Gadkari would be taking on Congress’s Nana Patole in Nagpur.
