While every other Indian was busy planning to celebrate the festival of colours Holi, Robin Hood Army was busy filling a needy person’s plate with colorful and mouthwatering delicacies.  Robin Hood Army launched the campaign #PaintGreen, on March 16, which, continued the next day as well.
The objective of the campaign was to spread awareness on wastage of food. With a view to feed maximum number of starving people, the RHA for approached a large number of city restaurants and asked them to contribute in the campaign.
Under the campaign, the associated restaurants have been asked to give away the excess food to the Robins, which will be distributed to the poor and needy.
#PaintGreen Campaign was a  sticker drive wherein the robins pasted the green stickers of RHA inside the restaurants which supported the ideology of RHA and ensured to contribute in the noble cause.
Around 60 Robins started painting the city green with RHA stickers. They were successful in pasting the green stickers in 720 restaurants across the city, namely, Paratha Shop, Annapurna, Ravi’s Food, Tuli International, Cream Corner Restaurant, Gauri Vrindavan and many more.
All the restaurants welcomed the RHA with open arms and lauded their efforts and hard-work. The restaurants associated with RHA have ensured to help them by saving excessive food from going to trash bin, and instead feeding that to the needy.
The organizers and the group leaders have appealed to all the Nagpurians to contribute in the campaign by distributing excess food to the poor instead of throwing it away.
