BJP sitting MP from Nagpur and Union Minister for Transport, Shipping and Ganga Rejuvenation has earned an income to the tune of Rs 69,38,691 during last five years. In an sworn affidavit before the Returning Officer of Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency where he filed papers on Monday. Gadkari’s wife Kanchan Gadkari is however richer to him by Rs 22,60,469.
According to the papers filed, Gadkari has gold ornaments worth 1787.21 grammes valued at Rs 21,82,620. He has obtained financial loan worth Rs 1,57,21,753 for various purposes and constructions. His Hindu Un-divided family income stands at Rs 66,07,924.
Congress nominee, Nana Patole from Nagpur in his affidavit said his income was Rs 27,24,950 during last five year as per the Income Tax returns.
