Nagpur is seeing a rise in footballing activity in recent times, especially short format football. Short format football is nothing but teams of 5 or 7 playing it out on an indoor or outdoor turf ground. Not everyone can manage to play on big grounds with teams of 11 players each for multiple reasons. This turf football lets even a small group of players enjoy this beautiful game of football.
Nujster Sports League (NSL) is a sports organization, which has been primarily conducting 11-a-side football leagues for the past 2 years. Other than this, NSL has also started to organize 5 or 7-a-side tournaments to promote football amongst players of all levels. NSL realizes the potential that playing football carries. Not only does it makes one sporting, healthy, fit and joyful, but football also makes one disciplined, and a team player.
With the intention of instilling these above-mentioned qualities in people, NSL brings another exhilarating 7-a-side football tournament for the people of Nagpur.
This tournament will be organized by Nujster Sports League in association with Slum Soccer (which is an NGO focused on helping the underprivileged using the power of football), and is going to be played on Nagpur’s finest turf in Bokhara, Koradi Road; maintained by the Slum Soccer Organisation itself.
The tournament will be held from 4th and 6th April 2019, from 4 pm and upto 11pm each day. Matches will be played under floodlights. NSL is charging a nominal Rs.1500 entry fee for a whole team of 10 players.
In addition to an amazing and intense experience, NSL is going to present the winning team with Rs.15,000 as first prize, and Rs.10,000 as second prize for the runner-up team.
Other than this, multiple individual prizes would be awarded along with refreshments to all the participants. There will also be entertainment activities and music.
For those wondering if they are eligible to participate, the tournament is open for participation to anyone and everyone between the ages 14 and 50. The last date of registration is April 3, 2019.
