Vidarbha beat Sangli in opening match
Vidarbha defeated Sangli by 124 runs on the first day of State-level Cricket Tournament for Divyangs jointly oganised by Dr Ambedkar College Sports Academy and The Blinds Sports Club at DACSA ground, Laxmi Nagar, here on Saturday.
Batting first Vidarbha scored 177 in 10 overs. Ashutosh played a brilliant knock of 65 and he was well supported by Yogesh who scored 50. In reply Sangli were all out for 53.
In another match, Chandeapur downed Mumbai by 75 runs. Batting first Chandrapur scored 165 for three i 10 overs. Gokul Pardhi top scored with 49. In reply, Mumbai could able to score only 89 losing vive wickets. In another matches, Marathwada thrashed Bhandara by ten wickets whereas Jalgaon recorded nine-wicket victory over Pune.
Earlier Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samathi president Bhante Arya Nagarjun Surai Sasai and circle head of Punjab National Bank V.P.Mahpatra inaugurated the tournament in the presence of director of Dr Ambedkar Institute of Management Sudhir Fulzale, Vilas Gajghate, prinipal Dr. Ambedkar College Dr. PC Pawar, convener of the tournamnt Dr AP Joshi and Narayanlal Uikey.
