Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA) will conduct the Youth (U-16) District Inter-Club Basketball championship for boys and girls at the Nagpur Amateur Sports Association (NASA) courts in Surendra Nagar from April 16 (Tuesday). From this district selection championship the 12-member Nagpur teams in both the boys’ and girls’ section will be selected for the Maharashtra State championships scheduled to be played at Satara from May 2-6.
The Nagpur championship will be played from April 16 to 22. In the seven-day championship 17 boys and 12 girls’ teams from various clubs of city are participating. In the league-cum-knockout championship, 46 matches are scheduled to be played.
In boys section, the participating 17 teams have been divided in six groups while the 12 girls’ teams have been divided in four different groups. Two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout round. Four matches are scheduled on the opening day of the meet.

Boys: 7 pm: NASA-A vs DKSA; 8 pm CPS vs UBA. Girls: 7 pm: SNG vs HKM; 8 pm: DKM vs NYSS.
