The Nagpur District Under -17 Open & Girls Selection Chess Championship organised by Nagpur District Chess Association in association with Dhanwate National College began at NDCA Hall, DNC Sports Complex, Congress Nagar.
Total 53 players are participating in the tournament. Total seven rounds in open group and five rounds in girls group will be played. Open group 3rd round will be played on April 20 at 6 pm followed by next rounds.
Earlier the tournament was inaugurated at the hands of NDCA organising secretary Umesh Panbude. Arbiters Shrikant Bagde and Pravin Pantawane were present on the occasion.
