In an enthralling presentation at the 56th oration at Professors Colony Mitra Mandal on an unusual topic ‘Life after death’ (astitv-mrutyu nantarche), Prakash Shesh, noted management trainer and consultant covered all bases to give a 360 degrees view to the audience. Since religions claim that souls exist after death, he started off by reviewing what Hinduism and other religions propound. He then critically examined ‘Near-death’ experiences, past life regressions and reincarnations; all of which have been scientifically evaluated.
A notable feature of the talk was a small pause after each of these sections when he posed related questions for the audience to turn around in their mind to find their personal answers. In the end, he gave his own opinions on all issues and challenged everyone to donate their organs or bodies if they wanted to continue living, even after death.
