An Indigo Airlines flight from Pune to Kolkata was forced to make emergency landing at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur after health condition of a woman passenger deteriorated around 2 pm. According to sources a woman named Afroz Akhtar, a resident of Pune was travelling on the flight along with her two relatives. All of a sudden her health condition worsened. Her relatives informed the crew members about it. Pilot of the flight contacted Kolkata and Nagpur ATC. After Nagpur ATC nod, the flight made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport. after preliminary examination, the woman passenger was shifted to a private hospital. It is learnt that she was suffering from hypertension.
