Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to give six marks each for the questions in English and Mathematics paper of class 12th.
The Board agreed that the question in Mathematics paper of class 12th was tricky while in English the question was out of syllabus.
Despite the decision taken by Board, many students are displeased on ‘giving away’ six marks and term the step as ‘unfair’.
The CBSE, in its circular released on March 30, directed the evaluators to follow a separate marking scheme for question number 29 (set 1 and 2), question 27 (set 3).
The CBSE Board has also made it clear that marks will be given to students who have attempted to solve the question.Students who did not try to write the answer of the question will not get the marks.
