A week before Ramazan, Muslim community organization Jamaat-E-Islami Hindi Nagpur conducted Istakbal-e-Quran to recollect the importance of fast the practices to be followed in the holy month of Ramzan.
The chief speaker Dr Nurul Amin spoke about the holy month and appearance of Quran during the month of Ramzan.The programme was held at Teacher’s Colony, Jafar Nagar.
Ramzan or Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief.
Dr. Amin opined the Muslims that during the month people should not confine themselves to mosques alone, but practically follow the precepts of Quran and also work for the rights of the common people and community members.
Dr Khalid Parvez and Dr Shoib Nadim were also present in the programme. Dr Nadeem who spoke on the Health during Ramzan, said fasts in Ramzan plays certain role in the person’s life but people suffering from health issues should consult Physicians before observing fast.
The speakers also answered the queries of the audience. Javed Shiekh proposed the vote of thanks while the programme was concluded by Abdul Aziz.
