HCG NCHRI becomes the first cancer hospital to be accredited NABH certification

Adding yet another feather to its cap, HCG NCHRI which provides comprehensive and quality cancer treatment, has been conferred with NABH accreditation. HCG NCHRI is the first comprehensive cancer hospital in Nagpur to be recognised with the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accreditation, thereby showing that the centre meets the parameters set by the authority.

Dr. Navin Chugh – Head of Quality, HCG, said, “NABH is certified along with the primary objective of creating a quality healthcare atmosphere in India. This quality of care is comparable to the care given in any country worldwide as NABH standards for hospitals are accredited by International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQUA). HCG- the specialist in Cancer care has been working round the clock to ensure reliability, efficiency in its process using contemporary methodologies and tools, better standards of patient safety and infection control at par with international benchmarks.”

HCG NCHRI is also one of the few comprehensive cancer hospitals in central India to be empanelled with MJPJAY (Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana) and PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) in Surgical, Medical and Radiation oncology. This is aimed to benefit the financially weaker patients with quality care and improved outcomes in the region.
