Nandanvan police rounded up two people for allegedly creating a ruckus at a bar on Kharbi Road and also for thrashing beer bottles on the bar owner on Tuesday night.
According to police sources, complainant Rajkumar Anjanikumar Mishra (45), a resident of Wathoda Ring Road was in Orange Nagar, Kharabi road bar when accused Sonu Wanve (26) and Lakhan Ingle (28) both residents of Shaktimata Nagar accosted him. The accused duo created ruckus in the bar before thrashing Mishra with beer bottles and fled the spot. Severely injured Mishra was then rushed to nearby hospital for primary healthcare.
Following the compliant of a 45-year-old bar owner, Nandanvan police have booked accused duo under Sections 326, 34 of the IPC and have started the probe.
Burgers decamp with booty worth Rs 4.53 lakh in Tehsil
Some unidentified miscreants barged inside a middle aged man’s house in Bhartmata Square, under the jurisdiction of Tehsil police and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 4.53 lakh when the owner had gone for Namaz on Tuesday evening.
According to police sources accompanied by his family a resident of Bhudhwari Bharatmata Square, Mansur Faqaruddin Chaudhary (50) went to mosque between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm to offer Namaz. In the meantime some miscreants managed to enter in his house by smashing the latch of the main door. The burglars subsequently, broke the iron cupboard and decamped with cash 50,000, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 4.53 lakhs.
The burglary came to fore when complainant returned home only to find his house ransacked.
Following a compliant of the owner, Tehsil police have booked unidentified accused under Sections 454, 380 of the IPC and started the probe.

Tricksters duped Wardhaman Nagar based businessman to the tune of Rs 20.75 lakh on the pretext of providing hi-tech machinery for his new venture in the affordable range between November 15, 2015 and May 7, 2019 under the jurisdiction of Lakadganj police.
Cops have booked a Delhi based Mohammad Salem Mohamamd Sabib along with city based Mahesh Pralhad Saraf a resident of Shastri Apartment, Vaishnav Devi Square in connection with the same.
According to police sources, a 36-year-old complainant Gutam Bharatbhushan Kolbi owns a farm in Kuhi tehsil. From past few years, he was planning to enter into furniture business and was seeking akin machinery. During that period complainant came in contact with accused Salem who owns Mesilk Arena Company L/1/71/6 near Nurani Mazid, Sangam Vihar following a recommendation of his friend Govind Batra.
Salem subsequently sent quotation to Wardhaman based businessman. To which Kolbi approved the proposal owing to its affordable range and low maintenance charge. Following to which Kolbi transferred Rs 6 lakh on February 1, 2016 and Rs 14.75 Lakh on February 24, 2016 in Salem’s account through RTGS but never received the machinery. However, accused Saraf signed the paper works and showed that complainant had received hi-tech machinery.
When the fraud came to fore, complainant approached Lakadganj police station and filed a complaint.
Lakadganj police have booked the accused duo under Sections 406, 420,34 of the IPC and started the investigation.
