Matru Seva Sangh a nonprofit organization celebrated its 98th foundation day on Tuesday at Ranjan Hall Matru Seva Sangh Ambazari road Nagpur.
Eminent social worker Adv. Kumkum Shripurkar was the chief guest whereas social worker Leela Chitde was the guest of honour of the occasion.
While addressing, Adv Shirpurkar, said that women in society still need supports and there is no end of their distress. She suggested that MSS should think about the formation of the cell wherein legal guidance to the women in need can be provided.
She also suggested that MSS should establish a shelter for the victims of domestic violence. Adv Shirpulkar appreciated the efforts of MSS management team for their hardwork and contribution to the society.
On the occasion Secretary (MSS) Lata Deshmukh was felicitated on receiving Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Samaj Bhushan Puruskar. While recalling the work of founders, Kamlatai Hospet and Venutai Nene, Founder member (MSS), Leela Chitde highlighted the work of Kamlatai who went out her way for women community.
Also students who have excelled in the examinations were felicitated for their excellent performances.
