City’s Ansh Dhanvij recorded the victory in the eighth round of Under-13 National Chess Championship which is in progress at Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. In the eighth round, Ansh outwitted Gujarat’s Parth Rawat. Now he has total six points to his credit.
In the ninth and last round, he will clash with Pranay Garg of Haryana. Krish suffered defeat at the hands of Mukund Agrawal of Gujarat. He just lost by four points in eight round and now will play with Vishnu Komanduri of Andhra Pradesh in last round. Himani (3.5) too lost to Roshini Bothunla of Andhra Pradesh. In the last round she will play with Bhavishya Anubotula.
